Ayurveda is a holistic medicine and is therefore based on the foundation that everything is connected.
It teaches us how the time of day, time of life we are in, the weather, the seasons, our social interactions, our emotions, our thoughts, our food, and our daily lifestyle choices can affect our health and well-being, short-term and long-term.
But Ayurveda provides us with the tools needed to bring our physical, mental, and emotional body back into balance, even at the earliest signs and symptoms.
It is therefore a great complement to Western modern medicine because it focuses on the promotion of health and the prevention of disease.
